Position Summary
KeyBank is seeking a dedicated Teller for our Mount Vernon, WA branch at 212 East College Way. In this full-time role, you'll be the face of KeyBank, delivering exceptional client service, processing transactions accurately, and uncovering opportunities to support clients' financial journeys. With a competitive salary range of $37,440 - $47,008 annually (based on $18.00 - $22.60/hour), this position offers a rewarding entry into banking careers with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody a client-first culture by welcoming clients, assisting with transactions, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Proactively listen during conversations to identify financial needs and transition clients to bankers for deeper wellness discussions.
- Handle cash transactions securely, balance drawers, and adhere to compliance, audit, and security protocols.
- Participate in morning huddles, end-of-day debriefs, and Saturday shifts as needed.
- Educate clients on products, fees, digital banking tools like ATM, Online, and Telephone Banking.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven client service and cash handling experience; PC proficiency with Windows applications.
- Skills: Strong sales/service skills, integrity, time management, fraud awareness, and teamwork.
- Physical Demands: Prolonged standing (5-8 hours), lifting up to 30 lbs., frequent reaching and communication.
Notary License preferred. Core competencies include upholding KeyBank's Values and Code of Conduct.
