Position Summary
The Unique Assets Lead Specialist at KeyBank supports Key Private Bank, Wealth Management, and Institutional Advisors by processing complex non-marketable assets on the trust accounting system. Based in Brooklyn, Ohio, this full-time mid-level role involves handling annuities, CDs, life insurance, real estate, tangible assets like artwork and coins, and more. Earn $18.75 - $24.52 per hour (approximately $39,000 - $50,958 yearly), plus incentives. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with finance experience seeking banking jobs in Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze documentation to set up, price, and process unique assets including mortgages, promissory notes, rentals, and physical certificates.
- Collaborate with business lines for documentation and monitor workflows for wires, collections, and distributions.
- Process adjustments, free movements, payments, trading, and daily cash balancing.
- Manage re-registration, deposits, and sales of closely held and DTC certificates.
- Conduct secondary reviews, audit research, resolve rejects, and update procedures.
- Communicate professionally, cross-train, and contribute to efficiency projects.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, detail orientation, problem-solving, organizational, customer service, and peer leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize, adapt, and participate in continuous improvement.
- Preferred: B.S. in Business/Finance or equivalent; familiarity with Global Plus, TRMS, APA, SharePoint, MS Office.
