Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market salary surveys and benchmarking analyses using tools like Radford, Mercer, and PayScale to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Develop and model incentive compensation plans, including sales commissions, performance bonuses, and executive equity programs.
  • Perform statistical analysis on compensation data using Excel, SQL, and advanced tools like R or Python to identify trends and disparities.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, finance, and business leaders to design pay structures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA, state wage laws, and pay equity regulations through audits and reporting.
  • Support annual merit cycle processes, including budget forecasting and pay increase recommendations.
  • Leverage HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for compensation data management and reporting.
  • Provide consulting on job evaluations using methodologies like point-factor or market-pricing approaches.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Statistics, or related field, with 5+ years of progressive compensation experience. CCP or GRP certification preferred. Strong analytical mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders required.

  • Maintain compensation data integrity in HRIS systems and generate executive reports
  • Support M&A integration through compensation due diligence and harmonization
