Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of sales floor and high-risk areas using CCTV and in-person monitoring to detect and deter theft.
• Perform detailed investigations into internal and external theft incidents, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing case reports for law enforcement when necessary.
• Partner with store management to implement asset protection programs, including audits, inventory controls, and awareness training for associates.
• Enforce company policies and legal procedures during shoplifting apprehensions, ensuring all actions comply with state laws and Kroger protocols.
• Monitor and analyze shrink reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions that reduce losses and improve store profitability.
• Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor to promote safety and provide excellent customer service while observing suspicious activities.
