Key Responsibilities

• Design and decorate custom cakes, cupcakes, and specialty desserts using advanced icing techniques, piping, and artistic skills.
• Consult with customers to understand their vision for cakes and provide expert recommendations on flavors, designs, and feasibility.
• Prepare and assemble bakery items, including filling, frosting, and garnishing, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure product quality and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to support seamless bakery operations.
• Support team efforts by baking basic items, merchandising displays, and providing excellent customer service at the bakery counter.

Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates bring creativity, precision, and a passion for baking. Previous experience in cake decorating is preferred, along with knowledge of food safety practices. You must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
