Job Overview

The Bakery/Cake Decorator at Kroger is responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods, including custom cakes, pastries, and desserts. Key Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes using piping techniques, fondant, and airbrushing for special orders and in-store displays.
• Bake a variety of breads, rolls, cookies, and pastries according to recipes and production schedules.
• Ensure all products meet food safety standards, including proper labeling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Assist customers with cake orders, providing recommendations and customizing designs to fit their needs.
• Stock bakery cases, manage inventory, and rotate products to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health department regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have strong artistic skills, attention to detail, and experience in a fast-paced bakery environment.
