Key Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes using advanced icing techniques, piping, and artistic skills to meet customer specifications.
• Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, including cakes, cookies, breads, and pastries, following Kroger's recipes and quality standards.
• Consult with customers to understand their vision for custom cakes, providing expert advice on flavors, designs, and feasibility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations and health codes.
• Stock display cases, manage inventory, and ensure product freshness while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with bakery team members and store leadership to execute promotions, holidays, and special events.

Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates bring creativity, precision, and a passion for baking. Previous experience in cake decorating is preferred, along with knowledge of food safety practices.
