Key Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable customer service, offering product recommendations, answering questions, and fulfilling special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and displays in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Stock shelves, rotate products to ensure freshness, and monitor inventory levels to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support store operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, strong customer service skills, and physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in retail, food service, or grocery is preferred. Kroger provides training for success in this entry-level role.
