Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as cakes, pastries, and breads according to customer orders and store displays.
• Slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products using specialized equipment while adhering to weight and portion guidelines.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure optimal freshness and minimizing waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product recommendations, special orders, and questions about ingredients or allergens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery and deli areas, including cleaning equipment, surfaces, and floors per health regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling food products. Knowledge of food safety practices, such as HACCP guidelines, is essential.
