Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions about bakery and deli products.
- Prepare and package bakery goods such as cakes, pastries, breads, and deli meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery and deli cases, counters, and equipment according to food safety standards.
- Stock shelves and displays with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure quality and freshness.
- Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic food handling knowledge is preferred, with on-the-job training provided. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending.
