Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and displayed according to merchandising standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and fulfilling special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department, following all food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Stock shelves, rotate products to ensure freshness, and monitor inventory levels.
• Assist with catering orders, baking from scratch when needed, and wrapping deli items.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods. Previous experience in bakery or deli is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential in this customer-facing role.

Work Environment
