Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and displayed attractively to drive sales.
• Provide friendly customer service, answer questions about products, and assist with special orders or recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department, following Kroger's food safety protocols and health regulations.
• Stock shelves, rotate products to prevent spoilage, and monitor inventory levels to reorder as needed.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Support team efforts during peak hours, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory, as Kroger provides comprehensive on-the-job training.
