Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Serve deli customers by slicing meats, cheeses, and other products accurately and efficiently using specialized equipment.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure quality and freshness.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations including proper food handling and storage.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions about products, and recommending pairings or specials.
• Operate department equipment such as ovens, slicers, and scales safely and proficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, checking expiration dates, and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and execute promotional displays.

Work Environment

This role involves standing for long periods, working in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays is required.
