Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and display bakery items such as breads, cakes, pastries, and donuts to meet daily production goals.
• Slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products accurately using specialized equipment while adhering to weight and portion guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product recommendations, special orders, and catering needs.
• Maintain department cleanliness, including cleaning slicers, ovens, display cases, and work areas to comply with health regulations.
• Stock shelves, rotate products to ensure freshness, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
• Operate department equipment safely, such as ovens, proofers, mixers, and wrapping machines.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling repetitive tasks.
