• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery/deli cases, counters, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure product quality and customer safety.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and mixers safely and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling perishable goods. Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not mandatory, as Kroger provides comprehensive on-the-job training.
