Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as cakes, pastries, breads, and deli products including sliced meats, cheeses, and salads.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure quality and minimize waste.
• Provide friendly customer service, offering product recommendations, answering questions, and fulfilling special orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized department, following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and wrapping machines safely and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory—training provided.
