• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product recommendations, special orders, and questions about ingredients or allergens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery and deli cases, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation to guarantee freshness.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and proofers safely while adhering to health and sanitation regulations.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic food handling knowledge is essential, with on-the-job training provided for Kroger-specific procedures. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending.
