Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as cakes, pastries, breads, and deli platters according to Kroger's recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure optimal freshness and minimize waste.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely while adhering to food safety protocols.
• Provide friendly customer service, answering questions, fulfilling special requests, and processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitation of surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive tasks. Previous experience in retail, food service, or grocery is preferred.
