Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as breads, cakes, pastries, and deli meats/cheeses according to customer orders and store specifications.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, ensuring appealing merchandising and proper rotation to minimize waste.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions about products, and recommending pairings or recipes.
• Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health regulations.
• Operate deli slicers, ovens, and other equipment safely while monitoring temperatures and product quality.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending.
