Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as breads, cakes, pastries, and deli meats/cheeses according to Kroger standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product recommendations, special orders, and questions about ingredients or allergens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery and deli cases, ensuring products are fresh, properly labeled, and rotated to prevent waste.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and mixers safely while adhering to health and sanitation regulations.
• Stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and report shortages to management for timely reordering.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling perishable goods.
