Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package bakery and deli products according to Kroger's quality and safety standards.
- Stock shelves and display cases with fresh items, rotating stock to maintain freshness.
- Provide friendly customer service, offering product recommendations and handling special orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including sanitation of equipment and surfaces.
- Operate equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications
Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Basic food handling knowledge is preferred, with on-the-job training provided. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying temperatures.
