Job Overview

• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, recommending products, and fulfilling special orders like custom cakes or party platters.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the bakery/deli department, following all health and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and checking product quality.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support store promotions.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have basic food handling knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred. Kroger provides training for all necessary certifications, including food safety handling.
