Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as breads, cakes, pastries, and deli products including sliced meats, cheeses, and salads.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, ensuring attractive presentation and proper rotation to minimize waste.
• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and wrapping machines safely and efficiently.
• Provide friendly customer service, including order fulfillment for special requests like custom cakes or party platters.
• Maintain department cleanliness, sanitize surfaces, and follow food safety protocols to comply with health regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending. Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred.
