Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as cakes, pastries, breads, and deli meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods to meet freshness and presentation standards.
• Stock shelves, rotate products to ensure quality, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
• Maintain a sanitary workspace by cleaning equipment, surfaces, and display cases according to food safety guidelines.
• Operate department equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, basic food handling knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
