Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package bakery items such as breads, cakes, pastries, and deli meats/cheeses according to customer orders and store standards.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure optimal freshness and minimizing waste.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions about products, and recommending pairings or recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and safety protocols by cleaning work areas, equipment, and surfaces throughout the shift.
• Operate deli slicers, ovens, and other equipment safely while following food handling guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and handling repetitive tasks. Basic math skills for pricing and inventory are essential.
