• Operate equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Assist customers by answering questions, recommending products, and fulfilling special orders.
• Maintain department cleanliness, sanitize surfaces, and adhere to food safety standards including temperature control and proper storage.
• Handle transactions at the service counter, process payments, and manage inventory levels.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive tasks. Food handling experience is preferred, and all associates receive training on Kroger's safety protocols.
