Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting with product selection, special orders, and inquiries.
• Prepare and package bakery and deli items, including slicing meats and cheeses, baking fresh breads, and decorating cakes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases, shelves, and work areas to meet food safety standards.
• Stock merchandise, rotate products to ensure freshness, and monitor inventory levels.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, slicers, and scales safely and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Food handling experience is preferred, and all associates receive training on Kroger's standards. This role requires physical stamina for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying temperatures.
