Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and display bakery items such as breads, cakes, pastries, and donuts to attract customers.
• Slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products using specialized equipment while adhering to portion control and hygiene protocols.
• Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain department cleanliness, including cleaning counters, display cases, and equipment daily.
• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure optimal freshness and availability.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling perishable goods. Knowledge of food safety practices, such as HACCP guidelines, is essential.
