Job Overview

The Bakery/Dept Leader at Kroger is a dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing all bakery operations within a Kroger store. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate bakery team members to achieve sales and production goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Develop and execute bakery merchandising plans to attract customers.
• Train and develop associates on baking techniques and customer service best practices.

Physical Requirements

This role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in varying temperatures, and early morning shifts. Previous bakery or food service leadership experience preferred.
