Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and engage them with knowledge about cheese varieties, including domestic, imported, and specialty options.
• Maintain an impeccably clean and organized cheese case, ensuring products are attractively displayed, properly labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness.
• Slice, weigh, and package cheeses accurately according to customer specifications, using precise cutting techniques and sanitary practices.
• Prepare cheese platters, samples, and accompaniments like crackers, fruits, and nuts for in-store promotions and events.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with receiving and storing new shipments while adhering to food safety standards.
• Operate department equipment such as slicers, scales, and wrapping machines safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to execute promotional events, seasonal displays, and sales initiatives to drive department revenue.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper temperature control and cross-contamination prevention.
