This position involves overseeing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EPA standards for refrigerants like R-404A and R-448A, ASHRAE guidelines, and OSHA safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of refrigeration systems to verify adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement compliance programs, including leak detection, repair protocols, and refrigerant management plans.
• Collaborate with field technicians, vendors, and corporate teams to mitigate risks and resolve compliance issues proactively.
• Analyze system performance data using tools like SCADA and BMS to identify inefficiencies and recommend upgrades to low-GWP refrigerants.
• Prepare detailed reports for regulatory submissions and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation of inspections and corrective actions.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a strong engineering background, preferably in mechanical or chemical engineering, with hands-on experience in industrial refrigeration. Knowledge of F-Gas regulations, RETA certification, and proficiency in compliance software is essential. The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to travel up to 50% to Kroger locations nationwide.
