Job Overview
The DC Utility Person/Maintenance Mechanic at Kroger plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on conveyor systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other DC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Conduct daily inspections and repairs on facility utilities including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Clean and organize work areas, including sweeping floors, emptying trash, and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and organizing warehouse storage as needed during peak operations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and document all repairs using CMMS software.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must have 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, familiarity with tools and safety protocols, and a high school diploma or GED.
