Job Overview

The Deli-Bakery Clerk at Kroger plays a vital role in our fresh food departments, ensuring customers receive high-quality deli and bakery products with exceptional service. This position involves preparing, stocking, and presenting a variety of fresh deli meats, cheeses, salads, and baked goods including breads, cakes, and pastries. You will assist customers in selecting products, provide recommendations, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and department cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package deli and bakery items according to Kroger's recipes and presentation standards.
• Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products, rotating stock to ensure quality and minimize waste.
• Operate deli slicers, ovens, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide friendly customer service, answering questions and fulfilling special orders.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and temperature control.

Work Environment
