Key Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the Deli team to achieve sales goals and provide outstanding customer service.
• Oversee food preparation, including slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing deli salads and hot foods.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and temperature control.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste to optimize department profitability.
• Train and coach associates on product knowledge, customer engagement, and operational procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and promote deli products to increase sales.
• Monitor department presentation, including merchandising displays and stock rotation.

Qualifications and Skills
