Job Overview

The Drug-Gen Mdse/Clerk position at Kroger is a vital role in our pharmacy and general merchandise department, ensuring the efficient stocking, organization, and maintenance of over-the-counter medications, health products, beauty supplies, and related general merchandise. This position supports both pharmacy operations and front-end retail sales by managing inventory, assisting customers with product location and basic inquiries, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with drugstore and general merchandise items, ensuring products are accurately placed according to planograms and merchandising guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock to prevent expiration, and report low stock or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Assist customers in locating health, beauty, and general merchandise products, providing friendly and knowledgeable service.
• Maintain a clean and organized department, including facing shelves, dusting, and removing out-of-date products.
• Operate pricing guns, scanners, and other equipment to label products and process returns or exchanges.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous retail or stocking experience is preferred.
