Job Overview

The Drug-Gen Mdse/Clerk position at Kroger is a vital role in our pharmacy and general merchandise department, ensuring the efficient stocking, organization, and maintenance of over-the-counter medications, health products, beauty supplies, and related general merchandise. Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with drugstore and general merchandise items, ensuring products are rotated, priced correctly, and displayed attractively to drive sales.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts, receiving shipments, and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about non-prescription products, directing customers to pharmacists when needed, and processing transactions efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medications and sanitation of shelves and displays.
• Assist in merchandising promotions, end-cap setups, and seasonal displays to enhance the shopping experience.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. Previous retail or stocking experience is preferred, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
