Job Overview

The Facilities Engineer/General Technician 1 position at Kroger is an entry-level role within the Facilities Engineering department, focused on supporting the maintenance and operation of retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate facilities across the Kroger network. Key Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls for repairs on lighting, doors, refrigeration units, and other building systems.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Assist senior technicians with installations, upgrades, and emergency repairs.

• Collaborate with store management and vendors to coordinate maintenance schedules.

Skills and Qualifications
