Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all floral products are fresh, watered, and properly conditioned to maximize shelf life and quality.
• Operate the floral department point-of-sale system, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
• Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and order supplies to keep the department fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning coolers, tools, and display areas.
• Collaborate with store management and other departments to promote floral products through cross-merchandising.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have a passion for flowers and customer service. Basic knowledge of plant care, color theory, and design principles is beneficial. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures. Floral experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
