The Fuel Center Clerk position at Kroger is an essential role in our network of convenience-focused fuel stations, supporting customer convenience and operational efficiency. As a Fuel Center Clerk, you will operate the fuel pumps, process transactions, and ensure a safe, clean environment for customers fueling up while shopping at Kroger locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate fuel pumps and dispensers, monitoring fuel levels and handling customer transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with fuel purchases, answering questions about promotions, and directing customers to store entrances.
• Maintain cleanliness of the fuel center area, including pumps, islands, trash removal, and windshield cleaning services.
• Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to management immediately.
• Stock merchandise in the attached convenience kiosk, such as snacks, drinks, and automotive products.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and adhere to all safety protocols, including spill response and hazardous material handling.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have prior retail or customer service experience, basic math skills for handling cash and payments, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions. Kroger provides training for fuel operations and safety compliance.
