Key Responsibilities

• Operate fuel pumps and point-of-sale systems to assist customers with quick and accurate fueling transactions.
• Monitor fuel inventory levels and report discrepancies to management for timely restocking.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the fuel center area, including pumps, islands, and surrounding pavement.
• Enforce safety protocols, such as preventing spills, checking for hazards, and adhering to fire safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about fuel grades, loyalty programs, and store promotions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while balancing registers at the end of shifts.
• Assist with merchandising displays for convenience items like snacks, drinks, and automotive products sold at the fuel center.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have basic math skills for handling transactions and a strong commitment to safety. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred. Kroger provides training on fuel operations and safety procedures. This role requires the ability to work in outdoor conditions and stand for extended periods.
