The Grocery Night Clerk position at Kroger is a vital role in our grocery division, focused on stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and appealing store environment during overnight shifts. Key Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, verify shipments, and accurately record inventory using handheld devices or warehouse management systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of aisles, shelves, and backroom areas, including sweeping, dusting, and waste removal.
• Assist in receiving and processing freight, labeling products, and pricing items as directed.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other equipment safely to move heavy loads.
• Collaborate with night crew team members to meet daily stocking goals and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling of perishable items to prevent spoilage.

Work Environment

This is a night shift role, typically from 10 PM to 7 AM, in a fast-paced retail warehouse and sales floor setting. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
