Job Overview
The Logistics/Corp Financial Analyst - Supply Chain position at Kroger is a critical role within our corporate supply chain finance team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of logistics and transportation costs, identifying variances and opportunities for savings.
- Develop and maintain financial models for supply chain forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- Partner with operations teams to evaluate vendor contracts and negotiate cost-effective logistics agreements.
- Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to visualize supply chain metrics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turns, and freight spend efficiency.
- Support month-end close processes by providing accurate supply chain financial data and reconciliations.
- Identify process improvements and implement data-driven solutions to enhance supply chain performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within logistics or supply chain environments, is required. Proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) is essential. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment are key. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
