Key Responsibilities

• Accurately select and pack grocery items based on customer online orders using handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Inspect products for quality, expiration dates, and substitutions, notifying supervisors of any issues.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to load orders onto delivery trucks or pickup areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized picking area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and reporting discrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have strong attention to detail, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with warehouse operations. Previous experience in retail, grocery, or logistics is preferred. Kroger provides training on proprietary systems like our order management software.
