Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage annual maintenance expense budgets for multiple store locations and distribution centers.
  • Analyze maintenance cost trends, variances, and forecasts to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance services, parts, and equipment to achieve best value.
  • Implement expense control measures and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per square foot and downtime reduction.
  • Conduct regular audits of maintenance invoices and expenditures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in expense management, preferably in retail or facilities maintenance. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software such as SAP or Oracle, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and industry best practices is highly desirable.
