Job Overview

The Maintenance Parts Supervisor at Kroger plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail and distribution facilities by overseeing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of maintenance parts and supplies. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the parts room, including receiving, stocking, and issuing parts to maintenance technicians.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of critical parts.
• Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, parts identification, and inventory management software.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in parts management or warehouse supervision, preferably in a retail or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and ERP software is essential. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.
