Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising meat cutters, wrappers, and department associates to maintain high productivity levels.

• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations, including proper storage temperatures and cross-contamination prevention.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
• Provide outstanding customer service by offering product recommendations, special cuts, and preparation advice.
• Train and develop team members on meat handling techniques, safety protocols, and customer engagement.
• Implement merchandising strategies to promote sales, including attractive displays and promotional signage.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming meat deliveries and maintain accurate records for audits.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess knowledge of meat cuts, butchery techniques, and food safety practices. Previous retail or grocery experience is highly valued, along with leadership abilities to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in refrigerated conditions.
