Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation methods. Physical stamina is required for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in refrigerated areas. Previous retail or food handling experience is preferred. Kroger provides training for certified food handling.
