• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product selection, recommendations, and special orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
• Operate department equipment such as slicers, grinders, and scales safely and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly is required. Previous experience in retail or food handling is preferred. Kroger provides training for food safety certification.
