Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation methods. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly is required. Previous experience in retail or food handling is preferred. Meat Clerks must work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Kroger provides on-the-job training for knife skills, equipment use, and safety procedures.

Work Environment
