Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and assisting with special orders.
• Operate department equipment such as slicers, grinders, and scales safely and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation methods. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly is required. Previous experience in food handling or retail is preferred. Kroger provides on-the-job training to ensure success in this role.
